Measuring Guide

Measuring for your new blinds is easy. All you need is a tape measure. You need to capture the measurements in millimetres so accuracy is important. We will make the adjustments for mounting brackets.

Width

Starting from the top of the window frame take a measurement from inside the frame. Do this again half way down the window frame and then again from the bottom. Write down the smallest measurement as your width.

Drop

Take a measurement from the top inside of the frame to the bottom inside of the frame. Write down this measurement as your drop.

Width

Decide how much of the window frame you want the blind to cover and then take a measurement across. Write down this measurement as your width. We will deduct around 15mm from each side for the mounting brackets so take this into account when considering how much the fabric needs to cover.

Drop

Decide how far above and below the window frame you want the blind to cover and then take a measurement between the top and bottom. Write down this measurement as your drop.
